Fore Ranch: a hot market in a primo location

Fore Ranch is a master-planned community in SW Ocala, just minutes from I-75, featuring several neighborhoods of different types of properties, from townhomes to single-family houses.

Over the past year, about 7 homes have sold per month in Fore Ranch, for an average of about $140k or $84/sqft.  In general, sellers in Fore Ranch didn't come off their prices very much - the average discount was just under 2%.

As of today, there are 15 homes on the market in Fore Ranch, which makes for a very tight market for buyers -- that's only about 2 months supply.

It's easy to see why Fore Ranch is such a popular place for buyers, with its proximity to I-75, West Marion Community Hospital, and popular shopping area Heathbrook.  All of this development has led to nice appreciation in the area:

Just 3 years ago, an average SW Ocala-area home sold for just over $100k and today it's over $150k!  With the tight supply of homes in the area, it's fair to assume that 2018 will see even more appreciation.
