Two warehouses and associated parking lots are in the works at the Airport Industrial Park just south and west of the Ocala International Airport. The new construction will take place on 1.34 acres, according to the site plans.
Plans are in the works to build a storage building with front offices, four loading docks and parking at the Ocala International Commerce Park, located at Northwest 48th Terrace. Golden Ocala Equestrian Land has paid $1.55 million for 21 more acres fronting SR-40 west of NW 80th Avenue. They are buying property all around the planned upscale residential equine complex south of Golden Ocala.
A cheer coach wants to use a SW Ocala warehouse as an all-star cheer gym. A request was filed for it and it is currently still pending. HDG (Hotel Development and Management Group) has broken ground on its newest property, a SpringHill Suites, last week. It will be more than 71,000 square feet and consist of over 100 rooms.
The Hello Cupcake store near Hollywood 16 theater now has new ownership and a new name. Sips by JJ is open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and serves coffee, cupcakes, and more.
