Festival Blast from the Past

This coming Saturday, McIntosh will host its annual 1890’s festival, where thousands of people and their families will head over to Van Ness Park for music, demonstrations, and antique and art displays.

After over forty years, the event has perfected its musical selections, with songs from almost all genres, including even gospel and Cajun music. From eight o’clock in the morning to five o’clock at night, attendees will be able to buy art and/or antiques and enjoy songs from local bands. Dial 591-4038 for more information on this event.
